During a seminar about high impact teaching I facilitated a workshock on impact in higher education learning spaces. In setting the stage I let people experience complexity. I used the individual and group experience to navigate through the complexity and understand the changing role of a teacher in higher education. From teaching towards facilitating learning spaces asks for an approach that is understructured and overprepared. To become such a facilitator I use the learning arches approach inspired by KaosPilot. I eventually dumped the knowledge and let them design their first arches.
